Welcome to the 8th Annual Slavic Culture Festival, July 30-31, 2016 at VENTURA PARK!
Purpose: Slavic Culture Festival is held each year to celebrate Slavic community through food, music, hands-on activities, fun, and dance.
Attendance: Average attendance last year at Slavic Culture Festival was over 7,000 people. People attended from all over Oregon, Washington and California, and this year our participants have reached out from even farther.
Cost: Admission to Slavic Culture Festival is FREE to the Public. Food, beverage, International arts and crafts are available for purchase.
Attractions: The main stage features diverse & celebrated performers, music and dance. The participating vendors representing Russian, Ukrainian, Romanian, Slavic cultures highlight exhibits from around the globe, and offer unique shopping opportunities. Presentation of local organizations, companies and services. The Kids Zone offers children’s entertainment and hands-on make and take activities for the entire family. Authors and books from around the Slavic world will be featured along with storytellers, storybook characters in costume, and interactive exhibits. Classic Car Show Soviet-made retro cars. Volleyball and soccer tournaments. Food Court boaststaste-tempting cuisines from all over the Slavic world. This year’s Festival theme is “It’s great that we are all gathered here today”
