Class description

Beginner: The first step for the youngest gymnast. Girls ages 3 to 5 will begin learning the basic components of rhythmic gymnastics; ballet, dance and gymnastics. This fun beginner class will have girls stretching, jumping and twirling. Classes are 50 minutes long. Girls need to wear leotards or snug fitting clothes (leggings, tank tops) clean socks. Girls with long hair need to have their hair up in a pony or bun.
Rec 1: An introduction to rhythmic gymnastics for girls ages 6 to 9. Class will incorporate dance, creative movement with music and beginning uses of rhythmic gymnastics apparatus; balls, hoops and ribbons. This entry level class will teach young gymnasts the foundation of rhythmic gymnastics; dance, flexibility training, strength and apparatus work. Classes are 50 minutes long. Girls need to wear leotards or snug fitting clothes (leggings & tank tops), preferably all black and clean socks. Girls with long hair need to have their hair up in a pony or bun.
The Advanced Rec 1:  has the same description except the Wednesday class is 1 1/2 hours and the Friday class is 2 hours.
Rec 2: Rhythmic gymnastics for girls 10+. This class will continue to build on the skills of Rec 1 and can also be a great alternative for the girl who has taken one or more of the components of rhythmic before. Class will incorporate dance, creative movement with music and beginning uses of rhythmic gymnastics apparatus: balls, hoops and ribbons. This entry level class will teach young gymnasts the foundation of rhythmic gymnastics; dance, flexibility training, strength and apparatus work. Classes are 50 minutes long. Tuition:

Rec 1-2 and Beginning gymnastics:

1 hour/week – $70

1.5 h/week – $100

2 h/week – $125

3 h/week –  $150

4 h/week -$189


Pre-team (1/week, 2 hours total): $125
Pre-team (2/week, 4 hours total): $189 
Need coach approval.

Tuition Policy:

Tuition is due on the first of each month.  A lockbox is available at the facility, or payment may be given directly to the coach, or pay online through a link in the invoice.  If tuition is not paid by the 5th of each month, a late fee of $25 for each invoice will be assessed. Every month, an additional $25 late fee will be assessed to the past due accounts.
Sibling Discount: Families with multiple children in the program will receive a 20% discount off the less expensive tuition(s).  Full price will be charged for the higher tuition.

Registration Fee:

There is a $40 registration fee for all classes at Rose City Rhythmic Gymnastics. This is the cost to have the children insured while in class. The registration fee is due in September. It is not prorated throughout the year for new enrollments. You have to pay a registration fee after your try-out class. This fee is not refundable.
